The Holy Ghost is the third person of the Blessed Trinity. He is also known as the Holy Spirit. The Holy Ghost is coequal and consubstantial with the Father and the Son. According to NewAdvent.org, "He proceeds, not by way of generation, but by way of spiration, from the Father and the Son together, as from a single principle." As in 1 Corinthians 12:13, "For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink."
